Invite us to your next women’s event!

While we love encouraging moms through our online and in-print devotions, our deepest desire is to engage with mamas face-to-face. That’s why we have designed an all-inclusive event for MOPs groups and women’s ministries of all sizes. Our events are made up of three segments: a fun and engaging hand-lettering how-to, a live devotional message, and a guided round-table discussion. Here’s how it works:
 
 

Hand letteringA how-to in hand-lettering

Hand-lettering Scripture is a fun and meditative way to engage with God’s Word! Jill will demonstrate the three points of hand-lettering, allowing your mamas time to practice each point. Each mama will receive a practice worksheet, practice paper, and a lovely piece of cardstock. Once they feel comfortable with their new skills, they can letter their piece of cardstock and take it home to frame!

Live DevotionalA live devotional message

After their lesson in hand-lettering, Mary Kathryn will invite your mamas to lean in for a time of encouragement. Featuring a Bible verse of your choosing, Mary Kathryn will encourage your mamas to “press on” in the midst of motherhood. There is a variety of topics she can share! We would love to work with you to find a verse that would speak directly to your women.

Guided round-table discussions

This is where the community is built! Following the live devotional, we will lead your ladies in a round table discussion. Using a mix of light-hearted and probing questions,  we will help your mamas get to know one another while responding to the truths shared in the message.

Uplifting and Encouraging

The New Mercies event was such a refreshing way to spend a Monday night! As a mom of an 8-month-old, my life is more full than I ever thought possible...but also harder than I expected. Getting to spend time in community with women who love Jesus and have been there before me while meditation on Scripture through hand-lettering was uplifting and encouraging.
